Social Trend I love: Digital detox – see posts by @sunday.scaries

Why: Phrases like "slams laptop til Monday" humorously signal shutting off work devices and taking a break from digital pressures. I love that it inspires healthier boundaries between personal and work life, encouraging self-care and activities that bring joy and relaxation.

Social Trend I love: You’re So Funny - Example

Why: I love seeing everyone low-key (and high-key) trauma dump and share all the reasons they are so funny because of their character developing moments. A career in #agencylife has given me a few reasons why I’m so funny! 😉

Social Trend I love: Letterboxd 4 Favorite Films - Example

Why: As an amateur cinephile and avid Letterboxd user, I ALWAYS stop and watch a Letterboxd top 4 video. It creates a relatability between the audience and the celebrity and leaves you thinking…what would I say are my top 4? These organic social forward videos do a spectacular job of promoting both the film and the Letterboxd app!

Social Trend I love: Bows are In! – Example

Why: The bow trend is everywhere right now, with social influencers showcasing everything from chic outfits to cute decor (#bowfinds #bowhaul). It’s the perfect girly detail making a strong comeback. Kate Spade nailed it with their recent campaign featuring Madison Beer, beautifully curating this bow trend while emphasizing self-love for Valentine’s Day. The creative is so adorable I had to look again—perfectly on-trend and just too cute to ignore!

Social Trend I love: Project Pan - Example

Why: I’m loving the trend of underconsumption and taking power in spending habits. I’ve been a huge culprit of owning multiple brands of the same product and as I was scrolling through TikTok, I stumbled across this trend. Essentially, you get a bin and add products that you want to go through first and “hit pan” before you move on to the next. I’ve gone through so many products like moisturizers, makeup products, and cleaning supplies without having to buy more once I run out because I already had the backups from overconsuming.

Social Trend I Love: Brands Jumping on the Meme Wagon - Example

Why: I love when brands capitalize on memes and curate them in really creative ways. The meme of Beyonce after she won Country Album of the Year at the Grammys has been a big one as well as Kendrick Lamar mischievously grinning and walking around the stage in a circle at the Super Bowl. United Airlines jumped on the Kendrick opportunity almost immediately during the Super Bowl tweeting, “my bag watching me follow it around the carousel.” It definitely made me giggle and found out that it gained over 10M views. I love to see how brands uniquely take advantage of trending moments!
