Traditional Instagram Stories sponsored ad units were top performers for Chipotle. At CODE3, that’s just an invitation to do better.

Strategy

Everyone likes to offer their opinions, especially when it comes to food. The IG Stories polling ad units gave Code3 a terrific opportunity to increase engagement for Chipotle. We know guac is the most popular menu item and their millennial customers are passionate about it. So we made it the focus of our creative, and our poll: “Guac on top, or on the side?”. The campaign improved Chipotle's return on ad spend and engagement surpassed their campaign average significantly.
