Lunar New Year begins Sunday, January 22 and culminates with the Lantern Festival on February 5. As the name suggests, it begins when the moon enters into a new phase (usually the second new moon after the winter solstice).

This year celebrates the Year of the Rabbit. Rabbits are thought to be vigilant, witty, quick-witted and ingenious. One of the most famous rabbits is Michael Jordan. Read more about the Year of the Rabbit here. Take a look below at what you can read, watch, listen, and do to kick off Lunar New Year.
